This page sponsored by Mr. 8L Mrs. Richard Pike Sr. Producing this yearbook has been an incredible feat in view of the fact that most of it was produced within the past two weeks. It got off to an extremely slow start and was perpetually behind schedule due to the lack of participa- tion by certain students. However, we have managed to pull through. I would especially like to thank Richard Pike, Barbara Carson, Robby Gilson, Steven Ertle and Kris Herman. Bruce Jacobs, by selling over S1000 worth of ads, also deserves recognition and thanks. The photography staff, too, contributed greatly to the production of the year- book. Many long hours of work went into this book. I realize, that there were a few changes this year tall for the bet- ter in my opinionj, and if anybody has any criticism Cother than constructive criticismj, you must first ask yourself: what have you done to make this year- book? Message from the principal The 1981-1982 school year represents a milestone for the senior class. It means the culmina- tion of many years of hard work and the opportunity to take the next step in life-employment, service or further education. We at Oxbow feel that we have given each and every student the best possible exposure to future opportunities. With our diversified program, academically, athletically and culturally, students can place their emphasis where they please. Now, the next step is up to each individual. Gur greatest desire at Oxbow is to provide each student with sufficient material to lead himfher toward a happy life. Happiness for one person may be different than that of another. The famous Bertrand Russell states, 'fThe secret of happiness is this: let your interests be as wide as possible, and 1et your reactions to the things and persons that interest you be as far as possible friendly rather than hostile. If you have also learned how to attain happiness, in addition to what you have learned in the classroom, we feel we have at least steered you in the right direction in your voyage on the sea of life. Bon Voyage! ml mu LLL! X :X , X
