Vocational Guidance Bridging the gap between the high school and the field of industry, the Coop program offers the high school student an opportunity to earn while he learns. Over fifty students are enrolled in this program and are serving apprenticeships in many business places throughout the city. Mrs. Gebhart, Head of Guidance Department tudent Guidance To prepare the student tor his role in the play is the function of the guidance department. Sixteen teachers assist as counselors under leadership of Mrs. Minnie Gebhart, Assistant Principal. Each stu- dent is assigned a counselor for four years according to his course of study. These advisors plan with the student his course of study, help him with his failures, give him vocational information, and assist him with any personal problems upon request. ...Q Mrs. Nevius helps June Hodge plan her schedule. The Annual Homecoming was a big success, the talent assembly was enjoyed by everyone, the Safety Club was recognized. A Traffic Committee worked keeping the parking lots and the main stairways clear.
