Oh to be a senior like my brother this past ..Jeny,, Football, Basketball, Base- ball, O Club, Prom Com., Sr. Class Treas., Intra- mural Sports. year! It seems to me that he was in everything - going all the time! I wonder if l'1l ever have the time for as many things as he did! His first two years in high school flashed by without much notice. Then came his junior year! Things really began! The first really important event was the Iunior Play: IUNIOR MISS. Wouldn't it be lun actually to help in putting on a play? Cafe '47, which the juniors gave to entertain the seniors, was the other big affair. Then in his senior year, he was really on the go. First came the election of officers. The people chosen were lack Baker, president, lim Dickerman, vice-president, Curtis Murton, secretary, Gerald Worthington, treasurer, and Nancy Volek student council. Their play, KEMPY, went off with a bang. Next came the highlight of four years, the PROM -with all its Work and fun. And Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to skip without being caught? Skip day, of course! Finally, the last week of my brother's high school career arrived. Baccalaureate started the week, then the Class Day. At long last, Com- mencement! My brother Was graduated! Actual- ly! Wonder if that day will ever come for me? How I envy my brother's freedom! He is on his own now with the assurance of a fine educational preparation to help him. Oh, to be free to do as one pleases! Wouldn't it be wonderful!
