UUTBHLL Lights! Cameras! Fans! Music! Cheers! and Action! We had them all! The beautifully lighted football lield has formed a permanent picture in the minds of those who witnessed the first 'games played under lights here. The Trojan squad of '39 sho-wed their appreciation by coming through with a victorious season. ,Q-'N s, Q0 9v,ava i fJ,.,,...-1-E ' Cameras snapped the largest crowds ever to attend the Valley contests played in Owosso, while the combined forces of the visiting and home bands furnished excellent maneuvers between the halves. :ll 24 :lf Inspiring pep-meetings added to the en- thusiasm of the students. Making a colorful attraction were the new cheer leaders in uniforms. Pk 'lf ik A The Senior Class sincerely wishes the on- coming team a successful season. Teachers and students racked their brains to furnish answers to the quizzical quips asked by the girls, assist- ed by the band. A November 9. Quite a full day! Two things broke Mr. Cournyer's carefully prepared schedule. First, a lecture assembly-Mr. Hall gave us a talk on Egyptian tombs, murnmies, and stuff. All very interesting. Then the senior girls and their mothers attended a tea given by the Girls Civic League. The program was cute: consisted of a play, two piano solos, and a tap dance. We then retired to the cafe where tea was poured by Miss Osmer and Miss Combellack. November 18. The Senior play, Apron String Revolti' nearly started a revolution 'round these parts. I had nearly as much fun watching the silly thing as the Seniors had in putting it on. December 1. The King of the Golden River was put on by a famous children's theater in our auditorium. I saw many of the high school upper- classmen sneaking in to turn kid again and enjoy the performance to the utmost. ....12.... . 1. 9.
