H DHU HT TH Life in the halls before school is a ma whirl. Everybody rushing to get no plac in a hurry. At the beginning of second hour, foul bells announce an assembly. Mr. Cournyer affectionately called Pop , gently C?J in forms the freshmen Cahemj of their diversi- iied faults and dismisses with the gentle ad- monition to leave silently. We immediately quiet down to a roar, and straggle to oui second hour classes. IUUSSU HIGH SUHUUL rudgingly read by the teachers. As the bell rings, people are in danger of being trampled to death 'n the mad rush. for the door. We eat! 1 Soon the halls are cluttered with fellows wandering aimlessly from o-ne girl's locker to another. The bells ring, and after a lingering adieu, stud'ts file into the cell blocks on both sides of the halls. At exactly 20' minutes after one, Mr. deBoom makes his punctual round of the light switches. A great eco-nomist Walks again! . The next two hours are spent in slumber, interrupted only by the droning voices of the teachers. The bell stutters-four times! It's a lecture program assembly and everyone frantically looks around for the nearest' exit. A few unfortunates are herded into the auditorium where they listen to a boring discussion on Where the white goes when the snow melts . When we are finally released, we Whoop our satisfaction and proceed to mob the exhibits room where a caramel apple sale is in progress. We leave the building eating one another's apple. .
