1 N Senior Class . On a clear cool day in the fall high school career. As president we H1 tory of 1950 we started our chose Joyce Brandt, with James Kreter as vice-president. Donald Collier was secretary and Frank Cope1and,treasurer. Gene Bingeisen was Sargeant of Arms. Along with these officers we chose Mr. Harold Autry, sponsor and Mr. M. M. Morgan co-sponsor. Our candidate for basketball queen was Violet Heyer. High School was a new and challenging experience, but we were willing to face lt. In spite of our greenness we soon caught on to the high school way of life. Our second year was another challenge, but an experience long to be remembered. To guide us through the year we chose Laura Wacker, president and elected Amos Paneitz, vice-president. Phyllis Landwehr was secretary and Ivan Krueger, treasurer. Violet Heyer was Sergeant of Arms. To sponsor us for the year we chose Mr. Charles Tometie as our sponsor and Mr. Paul Brattstrom as co-sponsor. This year we had a total of forty-seven students. We elected to support Laura Wacker as our class ball queen. our Junior year found the class candidate for basket- playlng a big part ln school athletics, plays, and music. For our officers we elected Richard Rousset as presidentg Davy Dyhouse was vice-presidentg as secretary we elected Bob Matthews, and Adolph Knehans was treasurer. Jeanie Pate was made Sargeant of Arms Sponsors were Mr J B Brown, sponsor and the hard work of our sponsors and 018SBftuPn6d out to be a very commendable success Our queen candidate for that year was Joyce Bledsoe, whom we are proud to say won the nomination. At the end of our Junior year we selected the editor of the Dutchman for the following year She was Shirley Steffen and Judy Enke was co editor By this time we were well on our way through high school, and had began to realize that it takes lots of hard work and perseverance to become a success. The final step of our high school career had at last arrived. We were Seniors. For some it was the final step Mr. Morris Gutmann, co-sponsor.. Our Junior play, through Q2 ,xT. G 9 - '. , in education, for others it was only to college. To guide us through our chose Ivan Krueger as president, and vlce-president. Shirley Steffen was was Joyce Bledsoe. Sponsors for the a step from high school - last big step, we Davy Dyhouse as secretary and treasurer year were Mr. Leslie Spurgeon and Miss Violet Schaeperkoetter. Our candidate for basketball queen was Judy Enke. Along with our Senior year there was a constant flurry of excitement over rings, pictures, invitations, etc. Although we spent four years here, we feel that no effort has been wasted and that it will leave a lasting impression on our lives. -AL This page ls sponsored by the Corner Store
