Soon after the beginning of school the senior class met to elect the Dutchman staff and to choose the colors. white and gold, for our yearbook's cover. Getting started on the yearbook was the hardest part. There were ads and subscriptions to be sold, decisions to be made on the division pages, and also decisions upon the order in which to place the pictures of the various groups, Finally all of the material we would need arrived, and the staff really got to work. There was much typing to be done, and the errors were definitely not greeted with enthusiasm. Donna Schneider, Shirley Vincent, and Joyce Richardson wrote our class will, Susan Cunio, Claudine Mallory, and Raymond Busen wrote the class proph- ecy: Glenda Wacker carried the theme of our class motto into the writing of our class history. Betty Spurgeon wrote the band page, and Irene Schabacker did the special lettering found on several of the pages. To Miss Schaeperkoetter, the entire staff would like to express their thanks and appreciation for answering what must have seemed like a thousand questions, and for always being there to help out when needed most. With her help, we were able to complete the yearbook for the school year 1952-1953. , .60 ff K E -A f i ' I nail 2 ' K , ' This page is sponsored by Hallemann Jewelry Store
