Loomis The well-known greeting: t'Good Morning, Most Honorable, llignifiecl, and Superior Seniors, will always remain in the niinds of the Freshrnen and recall that week in which dismayed Frosh and exasperated Seniors were subjects for ridicule and inirth. But, these so-called ttliowly l+'reshnien have become an up-and-corning asset to the Owego Free Academy, being well represented as participants in ext ra-curricular activities. Luck has dealt a poor hand to the Freshmen as far as sports are concerned. At present they show more spirit than adeptness, but they have faith in the old saying, HPI'ilCllCt'IlllLliPS perfectf' We hope this holds true, for niany have turned out for the various sports and have been practicing with unusual diligence. We doubt if there would be an orchestra without the Freshnien forthe f are IMPtJlt'l'AN'l'. i 3 This class sponsored a bake sale in March and cleared twenty-three dollars, 'l'here must have been something very appetizing in that particular Window. That's all for this year, but don't think you have heard the last of the class of '4n. Next year we'll not be Hgreenl' Freslnnen, but sophisticated Sophoniores and shall he recognized as such in the IQXQO Tom Torn.

Our hearts, with one exception, heat faster at the mention of The Big Applefl Att just such a social affair, the pre-mentioned exception, Donald Smith, began his Woman- hating career. Freshman initiation resulted in no additional gray hairs. After taking it on the chin, we are-what was it the Seniors called us'?fOh, yes !e Cocky as everfl We slipped Ca few fellj gracefully into the Sophomore Class. After reaching this high station, we, as veterans, can exhibit. many an asset. The mental equipment of such stars as Thelma Bartlow, Lucy Fornelius, Ruth Dodge, Betty Simons and George Andrews will bear close scrutiny. Our male athletes include 'tBeef Bowgren, who covers most of the field, Bob Kuhns, Jesse Howard and Fred Miller. Our feminine athletic starlets include Teresa Wolslegel, Betty Simons, Ruth Doyle, Doris Rowe, Betty Hetherington, and Eleanor Alhro. We prophesy that all our Hcastles in Spainll will become realities, as we sail in quest of uncharted seas. Q6

We have been enjoying ourselves as Well as working hard. We have had numerous basketball games, and two nice parties. One of these was a Christmas party, and the other, a Saint Patrick's Day party.
