Francis Eugene Worden HFranny. tllluch ll'fSlli0III often goes with tlwjezvffsl morris. -1-1-TI-IE SENIQR CI.ASS CDF 1938-1-1 The Senior Class of 1938 does not wish to be boastful, but definitely, it is by no means inferior to the classes of former years, and unless some unusual phenomenon occurs, it will maintain its pres- ent status with regard to the forthcoming senior classes. VV ell may we look with a certain complacency upon the achievements of our athletes, scholars, and musicians. Linley Grant and Fred Livermore, with the assistance of many other seniors, have upheld our name on the football field. Lyle Smith and George Taylor lent color and speed to our basketball team. Every time an exam came along, we skimmed over it blithely, with at least five people on the high honor roll, nearly one-third of the schoolls honor students. Our musicians are too numerous to mention. It may suffice to say that they make up a very large part of the orchestra and chorus. Dulcy,'l the Senior play was a knockout, dramatically, socially, and financially. This was due, largely, to the efforts of those two impish senoritas, Betty Frank and Tina Tilly, and that grand old actor, Charlie Truman. Under the capable supervision of Miss Dean and Mr. Albert Hubbard, our finances have been enlarged and preserved. Look us over!
