LAY It is my sincere hope that the time you have spent in Owasso High School will be an advancing era to- ward higher education and will serve as a foundation for supporting you in fields of higher learning. We are living in a critical period in history and yours is a rare challenge in meeting opportunities and responsibilities which will confront you. This is a time when, more than ever before, we need a clear vision of the goals and ideals toward which we must work. We are faced with a future that will require the best that is in all of us; the best in thoughts, in acts, in public spiritedness, and in leadership. This is a time when our faith, ideals and goals need to be reaffirmed to gpide us toward the great uncharted future which lies ahead, with hope of an everlasting peace. I congratulate you and wish for each of you a happy and prosperous future and I assure you that it has been a pleasure, a privilege and an honor to have served as your superintendent.
