Text from Pages 1 - 104 of the 1954 volume:

FOREWORD We wish to express our grateful appreciation to Mrs. Wofford, our sponsor who has made it possible for us to have a yearbook in which to preserve memories of our school days. We cannot tell your how much we of the yearbook staff have enjoyed preparing the END OF THE TRAIL for you. We hope that you, too, enjoy looking at it now, and that in years to come, it will hold a few special memories for you. For-that is what we have tried to do to capture every possible idea and memory that the school year 1953-1954 has brought in work and in play at the Owasso High School. When the hands of the clock have revolved over and over again, leaving their mark upon each and all of us. then will the pages of this annual picture a true reflection of all the joys and sorrows, pleasures and hardships which were in reality, stepping stones on which we, step by step have risen to Senior distinction. By so comparing the past and the present, we endeavor to give you a vision of the potential growth of our School. We hope that you enjoy this book with us.......... The Senior Class.............
