My only daughter graduates next week. That rnade me think of my graduation thirty years go, and of the class of '60, so I decided to check on what had become of hem. The first person I got in touch with was Pat Ulacksonj. Her son, Andrew IV, is getting married in two weeks. He is the oldest of five boys. She told me that Linda QMillerJ Smithson lived right across the lake. I decided to drop in on her, and as I approached the house, I was almost knocked off my feet by four teenagers in bathing suhts, racing to the lake. Since Saturday was Linda's day off from the beautyxshop where she works, we decided to give a party for the class of '60 on that day. Nancy fNormanJ was the first guest to arrive. Her three daughters are following in her footsteps as top fashion modelslfor Vogue. Marlene, Josephine, and Arlene all came together. Mar- lene QBellhornJ tells me she is a teacher at St. Luke's Christian N. Day School. She just received her Masters degree.y Arlene fGlem- EN 7 serj is teaching Senior English at Oviedo High. She says she is 'V J ! married to an English professor at Rollins College. llosephine fMik1erJ gf is also a teacher. She is now teaching at one of Slavia's new elemen- tary schools. I Wes Evans drove all the way from Cocoa where he is still trying to build a bridge across the Atlantic, Although he is one of,the world's greatest engineers I have my doubts about the success of this venture. W Also from Cocoa came our own Susan fStankdj, who is one of the top research scientists in the field of space vegetation. 1 She just won the Nobel Prize for her answer to the TV dinner--a whole meal in a capsule! The next arrival was a redhead: no, not the one you think. lt was Phyllis Cl-Iowellj. She's the new manager of Ivey'Q Beauty Sa1on and she told me she has two dahling daughters. I Mike Duda flew in from his ranch in south Florida. He tells me that his old hobby, flying, has helped him in running his twenty-thousand acre ranch. His cousin, Johnny Tesinsky, the 'new owner of a speedway which rivals the Daytona Beach Speedway, came along with him. You wouldn 't know him! l l 1 N N u I K 1 W 1 Yvonne fliingj was unable to come because she is on a tour with her lovely daughter, who has taken over her title as Skate Queen of America. Joanne fO1iverj was also on a trip. She is in Africa with her famous geologist husband, Charles Boone, looking for a very rare Being unable to trace Iulyann fPetersJ, our private eye, Ronnie V' with her senator husband in Washington, D. C., where she holds the position of chief librarian in the Libary of Congress! '7 Did you know that Benne Wainright is a professor at F. S. U. ? He teaches Algebra and rumors have it that a few years ago Mr. Buckelew went up to take a refresher course and Benne failed him! Lynda fClarkJ Hickson phoned to say she would be late because she was working. She is an interior decorator and is presently working on the fabulous new Lioness, a hotel located at the famous resort, Sweetwater Park. Incidently, it is owned by 3,5- our own Mike Tyre, who owns a chain of hotels reaching from L Alaska to Hawaii! We were lucky to catch Margaret fHunty between flights. She has just completed her one hundredth flight to the moon! fShe is the world's greatest woman test pilotj. All of these famous people amaze me. And if you could see my quintuplets, all six-footers, you would want to be coaching basket- ball again! Coach, I hope mail is delivered regularly in outer space. Your neigh- bor told us that our class inspired you to devote full-time to sponsoring annuals at Moon High and Mars U. On your next visit to earth, please drop in to see me, OK? stone. BOTTOM ROW: Richard van Wormer, Kenneth Sparks, Jerry Ulrey, Mike Kennedy, Benne Wainwright, Johnny Courier, Wes Evans. Despite a very hard schedule our team was beaten badly only twice. Inability to win the close ones hurt our record which now stands atlwins and Q losses. With only one player six feet tall, we turned to the running game which. made our team an interest ing team to follow. The boys were aggressive which accounts for a possible record for fouls committed. Our offense was perhaps equal to our past teams, but our defense left something to be desired. Our starting lineup consisted mainly of eight players. Captain, Mike Duda and Ron- nie Willis at forward, Johnny Tesinsky at center, Roy Wainright and Kenneth Sparks at guard. Jerry Arndt, Wes Evans, and Johnny Courier alternated with Kenneth, and Ron- nie in their respective positions. The rest of the squad is as follows: Benne Wainright, Richard Van Wormer, Mike Kennedy, and Jerry Ulrey. As we go to press, we have two regular games remaining on our schedule. Our team is preparing for the group tournament which we are determined to win. Our high scorers were: Mike Duda with 333 and Johnny Tesinsky with 291. Ducla Tesinsky Willis R.
