Wm The class of 50-51, the most aggressive and intellectual class ever to enter and leave Oviedo High School, began its education on Septem- ber 5, 1939, with Miss Marguerite Parsons as its guide on the upward march to fame. The following thirteen mem- bers were enrolled: Rubin Bedenbaugh, Frankie Gore, James Wheaton, Charles McCulley, Robert Lee Ward, Michael Mikler, Billy Bradley, Carl Sellers, Bettye Aulin, Reda Bush, Ruth Bedenbaugh, Dorothy Malcolm, and Virginia Conrad. In 1940, our second year, we continued with Miss Ald- red Cone as our teacher, losing seven members, and gain- ing six. Geneva Bailey, Grace Barr, Peggy Stansel, Barbara Glassmire, Marie Faulk, and Hubert Beville. We began our third year with Miss Cone. We lost three pupils, and gained Betty George, Joyce Waters, andJ. L. Williams. In our fourth year, with Mrs. Frances Stine, we lost four members, and gained Hubert Beville, Bryan Nettles, Nina McMahan, Thomas Snuth, and Annette Jackson. f N3, , . . In the seventh grade, with Miss Lois Ruddell as our teacher. we lost six pupils, and gained Hilliard Fleming and Sadye Beth Fleming. In the eighth grade we lost two pupils, and gained Violet Rogers, Nina Dishman, James Gillmore, Donald Hardy, and Harold Sheldon. in the ninth grade, with Mrs. Elaine Bauman as our teacher, we lost three pupils, and gained none .
