The F.H.A. members have kept busy this year making a bicentennial quilt, plan- ning a spring bike-a-thon to raise money for a needy cause, and planning a chicken bar-b- que with the FFA as another money making project. FHAers hold regional conventions in the fall, state convention in the spring and national conventions each year. Swim and Guard Corps ...More Than swimming The Swim and Guard Corps is an organization of junior and senior high school students, all interested in swimming and water related activities. Some projects S 8a G have sponsored are showing movies in both com- munities and decorating the pool area. The corps painted diving figures on both ends of the pool to brighten its appearance. The future of the Swin 8: Guard Corps in- cludes the training of instructors promoting of age group and competitive swimming They hope to expand the facility someday The officers for the Swim and Guard Corps are Gene Mon- tague, president, Pete Montague, vice-president, Luann Rum- mell, secretary, Joni Arnett, treasurerg and Brian Acre, his- torian.
