The 1973 football season wasn't a great success as com- pared to the previous three years. We only had a few re- 9 turning lettermen which because of injury were out dur- ing the three games that could have been ours. If we would have won those games we would have shared the championship with Swan Valley and Corunna for 1973. Mr. O'Donnell says that it was a most invigorating experi- ence and that he enjoyed working with the boys just as much as if they had had a 9-0 season. The season record was: won 2, lost 6, tied 1. Three of our players made the Mid Michigan B All League. Paul Tomasek made All League for offense and Rob Nethaway and Randy Bowles made All League for defense. 106
