CLASS PROPHECY Well, here we are back at O.C.S. once again. Ten years have passed since the class of '59 have been together. The baseball game is about over with Ovid behind as usual. However, Coach Phil Hernon is quite calm. Coach Hernon loved Ovid so much he just couldn't leave. Here's Betty O'Hora. Say Bets, where's your Kindergarten Class today? To our right we see that John Murphy is busy taking notes on the game to put in his new book, Baseball and Bruises. The scorekeeper is getting a bit of assistance from the great mathematician Jim Wilson, and we find that Ovid is once again in the lead. We see that Jim Webster brought the refreshments for the after-game party that is being held at the Teacher of the Year's home, Sandy Excell. Jim had a little difficulty in deciding what to bring?? Pat Solometo and Judy Westervelt came together. Theyfound that the business world can be screamingly funny! Joan Wane has arrived from California to attend the party. She brought her own cheering squad with her -- it's four now isn't it Joan? Fran Carpenter, Sue Widell and Gloria Hayes, our nurses, have just finished patching up a few of the players.'What, on the other team??? Jim Rice and Dick Jacot took time out from their farm machinery business to attend the game. They are again competing for the largest A.C. sales for the year. The great artist, Duree Brown, is busy sketching scenes of the game. She plans to make a few milion on them, at least enough to get her to Paris. After all the experience, it's no wonder Jerry Van Riper is now the manager of Ovid's IGA. He came to keep his eye on his top rival Joe Mac Donald, manager of Ovid's A.8tP. We see Shirley O'Connell, our peppy little gym teacher is once again cheer- ing the team to victory. We are not sure which team though? Dick Compton just drove in with one of his latest suped-up jobs. We hear that his repair shop is always full? Carol Austin and Sally Van Riper are here. Carol took time outfromher important therapy work to come. Sally has been busy teaching the P.G.'s at In- terlaken we understand. Dick Foxx, President of the United States, is here with the first woman Vice-President, Shirley Cool. Shirley says that she will defeat him in the next election. Good Luck. Gene Maleski and Doug Van Scoy, those two great engineers took time out from designing their pocket-sized tape recorder to come. They plan to use it to capture all their brilliant remarks. Judy Cusimano has just come back from the grand finals of International Hoola-Hoop Contests. Judy acquired her skill at certain social gatherings. We find Eileen Smith has just opened her marriage counselling office. She says business is just pouring in! Bill Manning has taken time out from his farm work to come back to O.C.S. He plans to give the Agboys some advice while he is here ??? Larry Poth is here. His job as State Trooper of Seneca County keeps him pretty busy we understand ?? Al Nivison took time out from his job as Head Nurse at Willard State Hos- pital to attend the party. It seems that his taxi cab service to Willard hasn't dropped a bit. To our left we notice that Joan Wilen is here. The little secretary is quite absorbed in the game! Well, the game is over. Ovid has won with the kind assistance of the gradu- ating class of '59. It has been a busy ten years for this class, and we are sure that the next ten will be as profitable.
