CLASS PROPHECY Zooooom. We have landed our autorock and are back at our Alma Mater. It is the year 1968, and time for our class reunion. As we walk through the portals , we see before our eyes someone who looks VERY familiar. It's Mrs. Ditmars, our advisor for four busy years. Who's this? Carol Van Vleet, alias Pinkie . She now has assumed Ripley's occu- pation and has written her own BELIEVE IT OR NOT. Here from Detroit is the designer of family rocket-cars. Because of Harold Haw- kin's designs, everyone now has a runway on which to land his autorock . Flora Bailey has been mighty busy. She's chief cook and bottle washer for her little family of three sets of twins. Now hear this. It's Donna De Graw, announcer for that early morning show, Wake Up, Little Susie , on station D-I-V-O-. Do I hear music? It must be our star vocalist, Loretta Van Riper, from the Met. Here's Johnny Mannix. He's married twenty times. Don't worry - nothing scandal- ous. He's now Justice of the Peace. And who is this doll we see now? Why, it's Elnora Vargason, famous model of MOGUE Magazine. Nancy Maher, the real hep cat of our class, is now the proud owner of her own record shop on Be-Bop Boulevard. Now, here's the Argentine millionaire, Dr. Henry Bramanti, who now runs his own hospital in Argentina. Here comes Doralee Flossie Nightingale Langley, head nurse at Interlaken Hospital. CNow why did she go all the way to lnterlaken?D Yvonne Clark, Nancy's able assistant in her record shop, is an accountant. She not only helps Nancy keep track of the money, but also helps her spend it. Here comes that there Carl Post, who is now English Professor at the Ovid Academy. Joan Miller, advisor to the local Lonely Hearts Club, has arrived. She now writes a syndicated column. lt's Bob Voorhees we see now. He likes history so much he's out making his own. CHistory, that is.D Sitting over there in the corner is Joyce Jordan, writing her own campaign slogans. You know, of course, that she intends to be the first woman governor of New York State. The other gold dust twin , Sally Cool, has arrived with her own adopted children. She goes in for social work in a'big way. Sandy Brown really stepped up in the line of success. She's now secretary to the President of the United States. She got her training in Mr. Kopp's office. Edie Twist has been over in Germany all these years looking for her Kenny. He disappeared with a cute little Fraulein, so she heard. I see Jim Maguire has raced to the top in the racing business. And right behind him is Dick Compton, the star of Jim's new Dare-Devil show. Here's another inventor, our own Sandra Tanner. She's thought up a wonderful gadget for the kitchen that you can get in any color you desire.CWhatisit? Everyone's wonderingj Fresh in from Arizona is Barbara Robinson. She's a nurse now, helping others as she was so often helped while in high school, Here we have the refreshments for our reunion fresh from Barbara Cookie Cole's Bakery Shop. Well, it's been a nice evening and maybe ten years from now we'll come back again to our Alma Mater. Sponsored by: NICHOLAS ALOI Cortland, New York
