N , .if ,, -. 4, W DECA is a vocational youth organization designed for students enrolled in marketing and distributive educa- tion, a program of instruction in marketing, merchan- dising, and management. It is an affiliate of the Nation- al organization, The Distributive Education Clubs of America. The club encourages free enterprise, economic aware- ness, and practical experience through on-the-job train- ing. civic responsibility, and competition through a se- ries of regional, state, and national competitive events. The diamond is the clubls emblem and the four points of the diamond represent vocational understanding, so- cial intelligence, civic consciousness, and leadership de- velopment, Blue and gold are the club colors.
