Homecoming —- that one special game thar everyone awaited. This day brought excitement, anticipation, ener- gy, eagerness, and a lor of activiry. We especially looked forward to the morn- iNg pep rally with skits, competitions, and awards. We all felr proud of the enrhusi- asm generated in the pep rally thar morning. Although no one believed he had time to work on the skits, when performance time came, as junior Melin- da Gipson said, ‘the finished product looked grear.” With enthusiasm and determination, senior cap- tains Martin Litrle, Ronnie Davis, Kevin Dudo, Skip After a day of yelling in the halls to build spirit, we finished the school day with the afternoon, downtown pep ral- ly. Led by the police car with flashing lights, cheerleaders and twirlers marched to the middie of town. A crowd of peo- ple, old and young, stood in a circle thar, according to senior Dhustie Hendley, “signified a bond of unity of the people in support of the Musrangs.”’ Everyone, students and townspeople alike, were fired-up and ready for the Homrnecoming game.
