Involvement High on Fridays Between the sultry hear of Labor Day and the chilly winds of Thanksgiving are days uniquely different from the rest. Days when lockers rartle with “Who's Gonna Win This Game Tonighr?”’; shortened afternoon classes allow for the 3 p.m. pep rally in the gym; junior high guys load the band instrument bus; cheerleaders make an all- our, last minute, effort ro sell spirir ribbons; and the Mighty Mustangs battle ir our on 100 yards of green turf. Ir’s FRIDAY! 1. Terry Waggoner and Coach Roy watch inrentiy as the play is carried out. 2. Nickie Young, DeAnne Bounds, Carole Eaves, and Kelly Jackson ‘blow their horns’ for the Mustangs 3. A glimpse of the real action. 4. Unifying their forces, the fwirlers and cheerleaders build a pyramid at the last pep rally 5. Third graders, Bri an Jackson and Lowell Randel enjoy the pep rally. 6. The band prepares for halftime 7. Jimmy Branscom. Richard Wilson, Keith Bell, Tony Jackson, Dale Stanley, Steve Feazell, Todd White, and Ronnie Davis are loaded up and ready to roll 8. Seniors: Leanne Austin, Margaret Montgomery, and Rexann Grandstaff cherish their last foorball game as OHS cheerleaders. 9. Seniors lead the student body in Hail Alma Mater’ ar their lasr pep rally as students of OHS. 10. Sponsor Mary Bruce, Cindy Creekmur, and Penny Johnson's efforts paid off with a nice profit for the senior class. 14. The Mustangs prepare for the second half. 12. Debbie Findley waves the Spirit stick won by the band. 13. Because of rain, the band marches in their jeans and band T-shirts. 14. Somberly, Tim White and Doug Maynard watch the pep raily
