The manner in which our country meets this task depends upon each and every individual within its borders. As students and teachers we have a responsibility which we must ac- i-1- cept immediately, if our 'way of living' is to be ' , preserved for future generations. Democracy must become a part of our being. We must know how it works, we must participate in its working, and we must 'want' it to work.
