Afrer losing rhe grear players we had lasr year, l didn'r rhinls we would have a very srrong ream, bur ir was obvious rhar our ream had rhe desire ro win, because we did, said Cathy. The season srarred wirh a lopsided vicrory over Lirrleron, imply awesome By Homecoming, rhe Blazers had an impressive 7-O record as rhey bear rhe Arapahoe War- riors 219. One game, however, srood our as rhe highlighr of rhe sea son-rhe long-awaired vicrory over Cherry Creels. x'Team unif ry and characrer gave us rhe edge againsr Cherry Creelsf' said head coach Tony Man- fredi. lr was rhe firsr rime rhe vorsiry ream had ever bearen Creels, and rhey were rhe only ream ro do so in rhe regular season.
