This was what many freshmen thought about certain upperclassmen. Whether it was the star of the football team or the student body president, freshmen often looked up to seniors and tried to imitate them. Many freshmen had older sisters and brothers who became role models for the freshmen. Several of the seniors were particularly ad' mired by the freshmen. Among the popular senior idols were Clarke Stroud, Colleen O'Brien, Samantha Rochboch. Chuck Kosko- vich, and Bory Luttermon. Fr. Angie Gibbs admired Colleen or her outgoing personality and her leadership qualities. Fr. Cami lhrlg looked up to Samantha for her sense of humor and ability to make people happy, Another common idol was Clarke Stroud. Fr. Deb- orah Betson said, I admire Clarke because he always looks like he's having o good time. Other freshmen admired seniors for more obvi- ous reasons. Fr. Scorbrough Munlz said, HI look up to Barry Lutterman because he is such a great football player. Also, l think Chuck Kosko- vich seems like he's a really nice guy. He never picks on us lowly freshmenl As for the seniors, many of them had no idea they were looked up to by freshmen. ljust act the way I always do . . . crazy! said Sr. Clarke Stroud.
