While most students fell into the dull rut of their lunch period, the students of seventh hour had some thing to cheer about, Brealsdancing and the Breolsfoffs. Jr. Treg Jerome Pedrett started brealsin' for the amusement of the commons last year, but these performances were few and for be- tween, This past year however, Treg and Jrs. Rick Jesse Burnside, Joy Ultimate Sin Genender, and Bob White Lightning Ryan turned their brealsin' into a full scale production and competition . . . the Break-offs. Every Fri- day Treg, Rick, Joy, and Bobjammed to the beat of students pounding the tables. They were judged on crowd appeal, the crowd's reaction, and their moves. Judges Jrs. Joe Kil- leen, Don Milliron, Jon Stemper, and Jason Trownsell decided who would hold the title for that weels. Normally, the person with the worst moves won, because he was the funniest. Members of the lunch crowd found the breals-offs very entertaining, especially when they did the class wave or the soul train around the school. Jr. Sean Sanford said, They're cool, it gives us something to do during lunch. Speaking of the class wave and the Soul Train, Jr. Kelly Skutvik said, lt provides class unity.
