Though accidents did hop me were more embarrassing than others. One foursome were so late for their Homecoming dinner at Le Central restaurant that they ended up eating at Burger King before the dance. Unfortunately, embarrassing incidents could happen any! where. One senior tried to go ANYWHERE to escape her blind date. She ended the evening svvinging, literally, at Utah Park vvhile her date searched the park for her. After a football game, Sr. Mike Sanders gave his date a kiss on the nose. He wasjust a little embarrassed when her nose started bleeding, and he had to look around for some tissues and a place to hide. Restaurants vvere places that insured that embarrassing moments vvould be shared by more than just the couple involved: Sr. Liesl Buck admitted to turning her menu into a torch at the Trinity restaurant on one date. While eating at McDonalds, Sr. Julie Elliott was put to the blush when her boyfriend burped rather loudly. 'll got so embarrassed I ducked down in my seat, Julie said, but l couldn't stop and slid right under the table. Tricky chairs caused problems for other seniors as vvell, While ata prom in Bay Village, Ohio, Sr. Marna Riser's date pulled her chair back to allovv her to sit-on the floor, as he pulled it too far. Geography was no limiting factor, either. Sr. Kirk lreson spent part of his summer in Germany, but that didnt stop a very embarrassing situation from arising On a night train, Kirk had to share a room vvith tvvo girls. When the conduc- tor came by for tickets, he found Kirk and one of the girls kissing. No matter hovv embarrassing these dates and others vvere, there was no doubt that they were at least memora- ble ones, N11 Seniors , ' ft , Q , E R
