DEDICATIO The students of Overbrook Se- nior High School would like to thank these faculty members. They have given us their time, support, and effort to make the best of our educations. We appreciate all they have done and sincerely hope their retirement brings them many en- joyable years! Mr. Lubamersky, a senior English teacher, has taught at Overbrook for 29 years. In his leisure time after retiring he will enjoy reading, eating, sleeping, painting, writing and watching TV. True relaxation. As a last word of advice to his students Mr Lu says, Don't follow the crowd. Be yourself. The 'in-crowd' is usually the 'in-trouble crowd? spiri- tually, physically, scholastically and financially? Mr. Schukis has taught business math and accounting at Overbrook for 31 years. He tells his students: Since you're in the classroom for 42 minutes, give 100070 attention and you will learn and understand. Education is understanding. After retirement Mr. Schukis is moving to upstate New York where he will write a book on himself, and keep active. While remembering his time spent at Over- brook, Mr. Schukis said, I have had many high- points and some low . .. name it and I have experienced it. Mr. Gambino has taught at Overbrook High School for a little over 17 years. He teaches electrical shop in the vocational training area of our school. Mr. Gambino has devoted many years to teaching a valuable skill and helping students make the best of their education. il

During this time she emphasizes she has met many lovely people. Upon retiring she re- grets moving away from so many friends. While recalling the years at Overbrook, Mrs. Jest- er feels students today are more independent and more anxious to be on their own. She then added, with this in mind, the most important thing to do is to finish your education. In her new free time, Mrs. Jester plans to raise a garden, knit, read, go bowling, and sing. She also plans to teach an adult Sunday School in State Col- lege, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Jester says she has loved all her time she has spent at Overbrook. She especially liked when stu- dents thank her for her work. Mrs. Beeler has been a valuable part of our school system for twenty-five years. Twelve of these years have been spent at Overbrook Senior as a librarians secretary. Mrs. Beeler says she will miss coming to school everyday. She has always enjoyed the staff and students she has worked with. Mrs. Beeler did have one bit of advice for the students, that is to get a high school diploma. She said that it is small but extremely valuable piece of pa- per. in l J L- - Nw 'Q r l'i' rl 9 . -..nf I 2 Q ,
