We of the yearbook staff, sincerely want you to en- joy, and appreciate this copy, your copy of the 1968 Lit-Xgenda. Wie thank all those who have helped us but who unfortunately cannot be named because the list would be too great. We hope that you will cherish this small reminder of your years at Overbrook Regional High. We hope also that you will come back to Overbrook, to your classmates and to your teachers by way of L,Agenda in the years to come. Lubamer- sky. Better known to us as Mr. Lu, he has ac- tively served us for ten years at Overbrook. His cheerful and realistic manner has devel- oped a greater level of maturity and aspira- tion in all of us. We shall long remember his sincere dedi- cation to teaching. Under his influence, the horizons sprang wide, fear went away, and the unknown became knowable. It is our wish that this modest dedication represents in a small way the satisfactions and pleasures ofthe many students who have been guided by him over the years. The fond memories we will possess for Overbrook will be synonymous with our feel- ings for Mr. Lubamersky. 16 Ysxfsn. psg,fH-,fw Awe Egg? ,V uqvzuu 'b-E JE Sports -HIMQ' .4-1 lr Q? W .. Although there have been a few serious problems we have found it very profitable working with each other and the rest of our staff. Although we had a small staff to work with, the members all did their job well. Mr. Clark, our advisor, has shown us new ways in which to make a more comprehensive and enjoyable yearbook. SEATED: Mr. Westman - Superintendent, Mrs. Fouler, To the Class of 68: Your last year in school is the year of riots, hip- pies, long hair, demonstrations and the whole works, not to mention a war. There is an excellent chance that all of this will provide a good back- ground for the future, not as a participant particu- larly but that you did experience seeing it all. Your future is still a good one, so you do your part to keep a good and happy world for every one. This sounds like a big order but Overbrook people can do it. K. W. Landis Dear Senior: As you graduate, may you take with you a confi- dent knowledge that you are ready to face the game of life, that you have a foundation upon which you may build your future, and may face your problems with faith in yourself. Through the sincere efforts of our teachers and our hard work we have learned to think critically and to proHt from our mistakes. The sporting program and the many social events have taught us how to work with each other and how to accept responsibility. Above all, our experiences at Overbrook have encouraged us to understand, evaluate and appreciate the val- ues of education. Our teachers have diligently labored to effect these changes in our behavior. Guidance has been given through carefully structured classroom work, funfilled social service work for our class, and lively sportsmanship in our many sporting events. It is my wish that your memories will fondly reflect the many learning experiences we have shared together. I wish to thank you, the CLASS OF 1968, for giving me the honor of serving as your class president. I feel that many honors are yet in store for this class. We will long be proud to have lived and learned together at Overhrook. May all of you have the best of luck.
