On Saturday night, May 23, 1959, the Class of 1960 presented their Junior-Senior Prom. It was a beautiful spring evening and the atmosphere was not lost upon entering the gym. On the contrary, the lovely season was reflected by our Springtime,' theme. Before the couples passed through the flower- strewn trellis, each girl received a sparkling charm to remember the occasion. The couples danced happily around the quaint wishing well to the divine music of Bill Muller and his orchestra. The big event of the evening was the crowning of the king and queen. Our

gracious queen, Rosane Arsenault, and our charming king, John Ciancio, then led the Grand March around the gym decorated with scenic murals and flowing streamers. The queen's attendants were Bernice Potts, Karen Holmes, and Gwen Williams. In the king's court were Tony Maccarella, Joe Mulhearn, and Joe Moos. Each of the lovely ladies of the court received a beautiful bouquet to befit her position. As the hours slipped by, the music and the evening drew to a close, and each of the charming couples left the gym with a memory they will cherish always. 'Q' iv it 29
