ALUMNAE OF OUR LADY OF MERCY President ..................... Miss Virginia Braun Bley VicevPresident ...................... Miss Ruth Boyle Secretary .................. Mrs. Gertrude Eckhoff Hatke Treasurer ....................... Miss Ann Ruth Katg Much interest and enthusiasm has been manifested in our Alumnae the ' past few years. Through the efforts of many loyal and interested members, the organization has successfully accomplished many splendid and worthwhile achievementsi Benefits both social and spiritual are realized by all who happily participate in Alumnae events, A varied and interesting program of activities seems no meet the wishes and needs of the various Alumnae groups. Highlighting the past yearis Alumnae program were a Christmas Carol program, which brought a splendid group of choristers, who, with their exquisite voices, delighted a large and appreciative audience and Recollection Day, which brought special spiritual blessings to two hundred twenty mem- bers. The Card Party and Rafiie, sponsored mostly by the older members, was most successful. Three Alumnae dances, especially the two with Roger Bacon Alumni. were each a remarkable success, financially and sOcially. Our Fatima Legion, a- special select group, is growing strong spiritually, winning devoted clients to Our Lady of Fatima. With the new members in the Class of 48 who are spirited and promising, Our Lady of Mercy Alumnae may reasonably expect even greater achievements. Page 61
