Edward Creager, pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Northside, who gave them the use of St. Patricks' Hall for their gala dance held on February 2 for the benefit of the Annual. In the above picture the enthusiastic chairman of the dance Mary Moning. occupies the center of the dancing group. To her left and right Shirley Dietrich and Ruth Ridge are tripping the light fantastic. The dance was a huge success. Here is the evidence!

UNDERCLASSMEN BEFORE THE LIGHTS In the very appealing Christmas Pageant, The Pure of Heart. presented at Our Lady of Mercy on De- cember 13, Lorraine Kidd played the leading role. that Of a very humble. young Shephetdess who gave her- self entirely to the Little In- fant Jesus as her birthday gift to Him. Our Lady was portrayed by Lorraine Hum- bert. that of St. Joseph, by Ruth Hoff. These girls were supported by: left to tight. Patricia Kroth. Erna Merkel. MArgat-et Kirk. Dorothy Ho- topp. and Kathleen MCAlIiS' ICE. MORALITY The entire cast of The Star, depicted here. united their best efforts, when they presented before the faculty and Student body of Our Lady of Mercy, this appeal- ing morality play, given in honor of St. Agnes. The story was concerned with the spirit of love, who became lost in the world and began to seek the golden star of Heaven. Faith and Service finally led her to it. Sophcy mores featured in the play were: left to right, Dorothy Mueller. Marlene Melzer, Audrey Stentz. Mary La Verne Hahn. Margie Regen- hold, Martha Schmidt, Jean Hartignn. The above fresco was said to have been put on the wall of the monastery by the an- gels in the play, The Pure of Heart? Every Christmas eve the poor and rich came to offer their best gifts to the Little Babe on this par- ticular spot. Those pictured in this scene are: left to tight.
