Practice Makes Perfect Errors are intolerable in the business world. Therefore the main objective for business majors at Grace is accuracy (to the point of perfection), then speed. Shorthand, typing, bookkeeping, business math and English make up the curriculum. The training is beneficial in more ways than one. For some, it will be a means of livelihood. For others it may be a supplemental income. Still others may use it merely to keep a checkbook balanced. Maureen O ' Connor pauses between dictations in shorthand.
