Catalinas Perform Holidays Throughout the Year Jesters, cotton candies, skeletons, and ice skaters were only a few of the different performers that helped represent different holidays and events throughout the year in this year ' s water ballet production. Eighteen numbers were performed to an enchanted audience. Sam Helmer, Jan Campbell and Terri Matthews performed the three solos while the rest of the club performed various other duets, trios and group numbers. Field Day Breaks the Monotony Of a Hectic Schedule Despite the weather, Field Day arrived. The afternoon began with a picnic lunch followed by many different planned activities such as bubble gum blowing, basket- ball, volleyball, jello slurping, tricycle races, banana peeling and balloon shaving. This year points were given to the class for each activity won by a person in that class. After the day was completed points were added up and the winners were announced. Sophomores and Seniors tied for first place while Faculty came in second followed by the Freshmen and Juniors tying for the last place. Susie Fitzgerald steals away fr Mister Sof tee. Four happy freshmen enjoy their first field day. Having her fill of jello, Janet Gumbel refu eat any more. Judi Matthews, Janice Marcum, and Mary Mat- tingly get ready to take off. These sophomores hurry to see who would get their balloons shaved first.
