Mothers and Daughters Agree You ' ve Come a Long Way Baby Dances and songs from 50 years gone by took mothers and daughters on a journey through the past. The entertainment brought out the theme, You ' ve Come a Long Way Baby. Although daughters performed the dances, the mothers showed their ability also with the bunny-hop and some modern dances. Refreshments consisted of pastries and punch. Joan Stahl gives a helping hand in serving the refreshments.

An Evening for Just Me and My Daddy. One of the many planned activities of the Student Council Standing Committees was the annual father-daughter evening, which was held in March. The theme of the evening was titled Me and My Daddy. The evening began with daughters serving an informal dinner to their fathers, in the night club atmosphere made possible by the decorations. Entertainment was provided by talented fathers and daughters, and towards the end of the evening there was a sing along of old favorites. Cathy Zimmer and Magdalen Arszman decorate the candles for the evening. The fathers and daughters dance to the beat of Golden Oldies. Patsy Scollard and Marianne Heck act as wait- resses for their fathers. The talented Baldwin sisters dance to the r of Chicago

Cantata Brings to All A Spirit of Christmas Carol of the Bells — Noel, Noel, the theme for the 1973 Cantata was directed by Sister Harriet and Miss Williams. Held in December, the show narrated by Susie Maley, brought out talents other than singing. Bongos, cymbals, and other percus- sions accompanied the chorus. Paula Baldwin, dancing to Laura Sanchez ' s violin, was another attraction. The Cantata wouldn ' t be complete without its soloists. This year ' s were Donna Theising, Jeannie Weddle, and Theresa Richart. Beth Guenin is discovered backstage checking out the malfunctioned lights. Jeannie Weddle sings the part of the hopeful mother in AMAHL. The AVE MARJA gets a new tone as the violi is played by Laura Sanchez. Paula Baldwin AVE MARJA
