Dance, Swing and Sing To the Music Two informal dances were found on the agenda for the 1973-74 school year. The Student Council-sponsored get acquainted dance not only brought students from all over, to dance to the music of Boss Tweed, but they also helped send c hildren from Sycamore II to Kings Island. The Sophomores Mardi Gras dance Sunshine broke the tradition of dancing to a band. They had Chuck Williams a d-j from WNAP come and play records and give out albums. Candy Sale and Ad ' ' Drives the School to Success The entire student body got involved in this year ' s candy sale and ad drive. The seniors surprised everyone by winning the ad drive, while the total of the school ' s quota was 93.8%. Once again the school got involved in the candy sale with the jun- iors pushing ahead to exceed their goal. In the end the school reached 95% of its quota. Peggy O ' Connor and Patty Hillcrby find, a lot of candy has to be sold.

Halloween Brings Out the Spirits in All The Halloween party held in October started off with a big Boo! Among the attendants were stop lights, cheerleaders, and most prominent of all, Miss Indiana 1918. There was a scariness in the air as everyone watched the movie with terror. At intermission apple cider and candy were served. The pumpkin carving contest, won by Laura Sanchez, seemed to be the highlight of the funfilled evening. Cindy Newman looks at her ! Payne, Janet Gumble, and Sherry Johnson show pumpkin carving talents. Raggedy Ann and Andy bring back childhood memories for all. The cosrume parade winners are Mrs. Martin, Pam Blanton, Sister Jeanne, Magdalen Arszman and Laura Sanchez.
