Big Sisters and Little Sisters Find Never A Dull Moment! The year was both started and finished with a party joining the Big Sisters and Little Sisters. A Get Acquainted Parry was given by the Big sisters to help break the ice of a new school and new classmates. There were games played, a picnic served, songs sung and a free time to be with their new sisters. At the end of the year Freshmen said goodbye to their Big Sisters at the Auf Wiedersehn Party. Here pizza was eaten and gifts exchanged. Little Sisters wonder what the upcoming instruc- tions will be. Denise Calhoun and Carol Sparks eat a dinner fit for a queen. Little Sisters find that growing is easy with help from their Big Sisters.

Student Council Activities Kick Off the Year Student Council Inductions and Get Acquainted day were the first activities that the Council planned. Representatives as well as the officers pledged to accept the responsibilities of giving their best to the school and students during a ceremony at Mass. After church the student body separated into groups and planned skits to be presented at the end of the day. Sam Helmer is always there when you need her Mary Carr, as Sister Louise, aids Alice through Graceland. Mrs. O ' Brien, Sister Loui bring the gifts to the aJ Guaranteed to keep you plans their laughing skit

Candy Sale and Ad ' ' Drives the School to Success The entire student body got involved in this year ' s candy sale and ad drive. The seniors surprised everyone by winning the ad drive, while the total of the school ' s quota was 93.8%. Once again the school got involved in the candy sale with the jun- iors pushing ahead to exceed their goal. In the end the school reached 95% of its quota. Peggy O ' Connor and Patty Hillcrby find, a lot of candy has to be sold.
