She is Mother Marie of the Immaculate Concep- tion. In this, the year of her golden jubilee, we, the gr duating class of 1955, wish to dedicate our year- b k to her as a tribute of gratitude. Perhaps there is no more unequivocal sign of God's blessing upon a Catholic school than an ef- florescence of religious vocations among its grad- uates. God has not withheld this sign of His bene- diction from the school Mother Marie founded. The number of vocations among Wisdom's graduates warranted the erection in 1949 of an American pro- vince of the Daughters of Wisdom, of which Mother Marie was fittingly named the first Provincial.
