uv ,X Rose Marie Brennan, Editor-in-Chief confers with Eileen Keane, Finan- cial Editor. OLW Once again OLWA goes to press! An air of suspense has hung over the physics labora- tory for it was here that the staff gathered to plan a review of the year's activities. Every tidbit of news was utilized. There was much anxiety about meeting the first deadline, and when the precious pack- age was safely in the mails, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. It was a new and fascinating experience for the staff. At first it was difficult to adiust to the life of a reporter. Mysterious sounds came from the developing room as the iunior photographers strove to understand the work- ings of the complex developing equipment. The five o'clock crew fstaff to the uninit- iatedl delved into the problems of editing copy, checking on ads, and thinking up original situ- ations for pictures. When the work really got under way, the staff expanded their facilities to include a cozy corner of the library. The faculty and students soon became conditioned to the clicking of typewriters and calls to have your picture ta- ken at unusual hours. It was an eventful year and it is the hope of the staff that OLWA will bring laughter and pleasant memories to all Wisdomites. Gloria Olinkiewicz and Angela Malsano prepare a layout.

Gail Gilroy Editor-in-Chief Dorene Rohne and Patricia Studley pick up an interesting tidbit for Getting The Sagesse! Sagessel Sagesse! Yes, you know it's the name of the school paper. But don't say like one Will Shakespeare, What's in a name? -because we are go- ing to dispute with the wise old genius and say Sagesse means very much to us. Translated from the French, Sagesse means wisdom, and wisdom predicates know- ledge, respect and beauty of mind-certainly a title to want to live up to. Besides reporting important events and reflecting the general school spirit in its editorials, Sagesse is the mirror of the daily school lives and times of Wisdomites. We see ourselves as our friends see us, we see our names in print at one time or another. ff
