The purpose of the National Forensic League is to further the interest of interscholastic debate, ora- tory and public speaking by encouraging a spirit of healthful competition and by recognizing the achieve ments of its members. Participation in ten tournaments ranging from local meets to State District Finals increases the enjoyment of participating in competition and fosters a fellowship among the students. To gain experience in play production is an important purpose of the Genesians, but its purposes go beyond that of artistic de- velopment in drama.
