Lent During Lent, many students attended daily Mass, offered special prayers and sacrifices, and took part in Lenten services in their parish churches. Everyone contributed to the Bishops' Relief Fund for the poor children throughout the world. The senior class climaxed the Lenten season by attending the beautiful Chrism Mass celebrated by His Excellency, Most Reverend Thomas K. Gorman, at Sacred Heart Cathedral Dallas.
