CI7ASSES Everyone is in it - this battle against communism. The preparation for the fight begins at home, but the study of it is intensified in school, in its curriculum and spiritual activities. Each year adds more strengthg no one can work too hard or learn too much. Even so, what one learns is but a foundation, but if the foundation be strong, the fortress will stand. X z 4 Juniors We Juniors fortified ourselves with a careful study of American his- tory and literature, a heritage the communists strive to ridicule and even destroy. In studying Part ll of the SUMMA THEOLOGICA, we arrived at a better understanding of right thinking and moral principles by which ophomores We Sophomores in our study of biology developed a keener perception of the beauty of creation and in particu lar, the dignity and perfection of the human body - only ' God could effect such things. The OLD TESTAMENT history disclosed to us the richness of the Iudeo-Christian tradition - a tradition the communists seek to erase. Freshmen We Freshmen began our training by surveying man's struggle with himself and others from ancient times to the present. There has always been evil to combat but only with God 's help can l evil be vanquished. Appreciation for the Church's liturgy deep-,..... -ll' ened as occasions presented opportunities for us to actively par- ticipate in liturgical functions. We will bury you, is the boast of the Communists. Will they? Only he who arms himself with the weapons of truth and justice and follow the leader Jesus Christ will win.
