GRADUATES Dialectic materialism, or Communism, threatens to control the world today. Through selected courses, we, the graduates of OLV 1962, are fully aware of this insidious evil. As seniors, we had many opportunities to strengthen ourselves in sts' t he battle between good and evil. ln our prayerful study ofthe New Testament, we familiarized ourselves with our meek and humble Leader and His sweet and gentle Mother. In contrast, we studied the leaders of communism, their ideals and tactics and trained our minds to recognize the pattern these leaders have mapped out to destroy western civilization. In a special course on marriage, we reviewed the Church's teaching on the sacrament of Matrimony, its obligations, rewards, and importance as a factor in the fight against communism. We seniors realize that communism totally rejects everything America has come to accept and cherish. We accept the challenge that only by following Christ, by being perfect Christian Americans, can one join the battle no less serious than that of Lepanto and come out victorious.
