Devoted interest Always thinking of our interests, the pastor and priests of Our Lady of the Valley spend hours in the confessional each week for our spiritual betterment. Masses are so arranged that everyone finds time to receive our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Not only the spiritual education concerns these wonderful men of God, but they are also supremely interested in encouraging us to seek a superior academic standing. For this reason they have come up with an ingenious plan of offering rewards in the form of script letters which are awarded on athletic day. They also aid the stu- dents by writing letters of recommendation and by speaking for them when an opportunity arises. Realizing that to educate the whole man, students must be acquainted with the social graces and with sports, activities of every kind, these holy priests assume the responsibility of con- ducting dances, games, and meets. All in all, the priests of the Valley will ever remain synonymous with the happiness of our high school days. The Class of 1960 wishes to say sincerely and honestly: Thank you and Cod love you.', Monsignor talks with some of the members of the track team about a victory they had won over a rival team.
