The heart has its own secret melody, and one day when the score is played, the heart answers: This is it. So un- folds the Spiritual, Scholastic, and Social melody of our four yeors at the Valley. Music is essentially rhythm, and our unbroken repetitions of Hail Mary's in the rosary is perhaps the most rhythmic prayer we say. As sodalists. we also enjoy the musical tones of the Little Oflice of the Blessed Lady. The hymns of praise joined with the music of our voices at Mass carry along this tone of reverent harmony. The rhythm is continued in our studies as the typewriters click in the business department, the toes tap in the dancing class, the chant of the poems reverber- ates in the English periods, and the bells ring for the change of class. The social whirl of the prom beats with the rhythm of the orchestra and is fol- lowed by the choruses of the operetta. These and the other activities are all bound together in the entire stream which is THE VALLEY.
