William Kane finishes making the stations as Marie Cerone begins them. To follow Christ daily in His passion is a daily privilege enjoyed by those in retreat. One of the highlights of our school year is the annual retreat. It gives us an opportunity to brush away the cobwebs of indifference that may have a weakening effect on our moral life. At retreat time, we have conferences, meditations, and extra spiritual exercises designed to help us balance our account with God. Since classes are temporarily suspended, the worries and anxieties of scholastic work dissolves, and we can thus concentrate more readily on the calling God .has in store for each of us. This year, Father Reynolds, our retreat master, tried to make us realize the responsibility that God places on the shoulders of all Catholic High School graduates. In between the spiritual exercises this little group combines reading with sunshine.
