Re Nwmv The Valley has always been known for the excellence of its choral work. The Christmas program, the Musical each year and background music for graduation are among some of the principal highlights which have drawn compliments from far and near. Sister David Marie, our new musical director, has been working with the glee club all year, helping them carry on the reputation the Valley has gaihed for its vocal work. As the Valley Voice records the carefree days, so the Valiant portrays the years of fun and learning that the Class of 1958 has enjoyed at Our Lady of the Valley High School. Co-editors Kathleen Morley and Jane Cillen, together with their helpful staff, offer the kind of yearbook that they feel will measure up to the high standards of all previous yearbooks. The photography, the art, the layout and the illustrations will always bring back fond memories of many happy moments at our Alma Mater. 3716 Valiah . 2;; The yearbook would never become a reality without the help of this smiling group. They gave up valuable holi- days to make the 1958 Valiant a success. Patricia Travers is really sad because the Work is completed. It is difficult to decide which pictures are most suit- able to appear in the Valiant. The decision lies in the hands of Joy Pech. Beverly Zbuska and Marie Haarlander.

Besides a good mxxiwwxxx wk kt ?QWWWVV x x- 4 x xx mxx waw NMW , :t x XXX t NW xx exxxxmmm x voice, the members of the glee club must have a special love of singing, but even more important they must be willing to work hard to achieve the perfection that characterizes performances of Our Lady of the Valley High School. This year the Christmas Carols were especially effective with their finale of the Divine Babe in the arms of the Blessed Mother, portrayed by Susan Domalewski. The triptych was especially appropriate for its richness and beauty. Of course, the Glee Club distinguished itself completely during the many performances of THE GREAT WALTZ.
