Since all play and no work is definitely not a policy of Our Lady of the Valley High School, we who enter the portals become imbued with good study habits. Whether it is memorizing lines from a master author, or solving a simple equation, we apply ourselves with equal diligence, for we realize that knowledge is 'power. Our logical powers of concentration are sharpened by studying subjects, which in the eyes of the administration, will fit us to take our rightful places in society and bring credit to ourselves and our school. In the following pages, we offer a tiny glimpse of our daily school life. Without fear of ridicule or without offering any excuses, we are certain that if we follow the lessons and instructions of our teachers, we shall eventually become good citizens as well as good Catholics.
