These traits manifest themselves in the way which the boys, instructed by their new coach, Mr. Murray, meet each new opponent, battle for possession of the ball, and sink their shots even down to the last fleeting seconds of the game. These boys play for the team and for their school and not for the honor and glory of the individual. The words of the TEAM CHEER, which echo through the gymnasium during our basketball games, seem to express the feelings of all those who watch the Golden Knights in action. WHETHER WE WIN OR WHETHER WE LOSE, HERBS A CHEER WElLL ALWAYS USE, TeEeAeMe, Yeh! Team! All the students are familiar with this pose of Captain Mike Connolly.
