Our able and popular captain, Frank Rizzo, did his utmost to lead the Knights to victory this season. Without his true fighting iiIrishii spirit, the boys probably would have lost their desire to keep fighting. Besides bolstering his boys' morale, Frank played very vigorously himself. a 11mm sclzcdulc: The glory of the Valley is refiected in these seven able- bodied seniors. Jim Gerraty, Thomas Callahan, Frank Rizzo, Harry Banker, Jerry Penta, Pete Gruchaez and Tommy Ucciardi. Faced with the problem of inexperience, a tough schedule, and the task of replacing thirteen lettermen lost in last yearis squad, the goal of a winning season proved an unsurmountable object. Their record was eight to one . . . the single victory being over Park Ridge. They were not victors every time, but each man doing his best, they put on a good show . . . and indeed therefore, had moral victory. Frank Rizzo, Captain, inspired his team with both spirit and determination. Touchdowns were scored by Jimmy Cerraty and Bobby Longo, with the able assistance of Tommy Callahan, Jerry Penta, Tommy Ucciardi, Jack Walsh, and'ITkter Gruchacz, the defensive linemen.

Although many times their prayers are in vain, the boys know that the prayer did help them to accept the defeat . . . and prove that the game was a MORAL victory. The J.st pose to give us a good look at them when they are not in action. There is some dynamite in this line as the future will tell. t m .wmwmmmm mmw NW v: it xwmv, Wig l U V wwmw-t
