Each student of Our Lady of the Valley High is presented with the privilege of Our Lady's specific protection through his acceptance into the Sodality, which occurs during the Freshman Year. The Sodality is an intricate part of the life of each student. Through persistent participation in its numerous activities, a truly Catholic life is duly encouraged, which is practiced not only during high school years, but also in the world of tomorrow. llllll

All look forward to the day of their reception into the sodality when they will share in the indulgences grunted to its members. The senior officers of our Lady's Sodality hold the key for all its activities. Mary Patricia Brennan, Chairman of the Apostolateg Marie Gallagher, Prefectg Joan Lutz, Chairman of the Spiritual Activities Group, and Marcia Powers, Secretary-Treasurer. The sophomore members of the Active Sodality receive instruc- tions from Senior Socialists, Mary Pat Brennan and Marcia Powers concerning the next Sodality project.
