Parzych, then the administrator of Mt. Carmel. With the beginning of his pastorate Rev. L. A. Krych did not interfere with the rapidly grow- ing group which by 1940 had already adopted a constitution and drew up a charter for an official Ushers Club to be of special assistance to the pastor and the parish at large. Till 1946 the Ushers Club fulfilled its pur- pose by cooperating with other parish organiza- tions in sponsoring various activities to raise funds for the needs of the parish. Carmel numbering seventy-two members whose motto is P-E-P: Plans, Enthusiasm, Personal follow through! United with the Church and its pastor it has shown by far greater power than seventy men normally would produce.
